SOOC Sunday

My little girl kitty was featured yesterday in my 52 Week Project, so today I have to share a photo of my little boy cat, Spitze.  My cats are indoor cats but are allowed to go out on the patio/balcony because there is no way for them to get down into the yard and escape.  Patio-time is their favorite time of the day and we joke about how Spitze over watches the backyard area like it is his job.  He takes patio-time very seriously and without his oversight and regulation, I’m quite sure the neighborhood would turn to chaos.  Here is a photo of my boy “working”.
Spitze has his game-face on.  Seriously, would you mess with this guy?

I decided to not even mess with cropping these photos.  Just added the watermark in LR.

Cute shots, he does look very serious! I also have a Nikon D3000and I love it. I am ready to purchase a macro lens...I see you have quite the variety of lenses, can you recomend one to me. With all the lenses out there it is very confusing for a novice like me.Thanx

Thanks for the comment! I love my 105mm macro, it is very sharp and I love the bokeh. It makes a great portrait lens too. If you look at my photos from the Heidelberg Zoo, most of them were taken with the 105mm. It is such a great lens! I haven't used the 60mm or 85mm, but I have heard good things about them as well! Good luck, macros are so much fun!

I, too, have 2 very serious "watch cats" at my house. They take turns monitoring the front parking lot and the back patio and report every furry or winged visitor as well as let me know when my little one gets out of bed at night!
